Dulahazara Safari Park

Dulahazara Safari Park or Bangabandhu Safari Park is located 40 km north of Cox's Bazar district headquarters. It is spread over an area of ​​900 hectares included in Dulahazara Block of Fasiakhali Range of South Forest Division of Cox's Bazar District. In 1999, Bangladesh Ministry of Forest and Environment established this safari park as a deer breeding center.

Dullahazara Safari Park, established in eight blocks, is a deer breeding center, but apart from deer, there are animals like lions, tigers, bears, hippos, elephants, jackals, crocodiles etc. There are several observation towers, restrooms and dormitories at Dullahazara Safari Park for tourists. From the observation or watch tower you can see breathtaking scenery and free roaming of animals and birds.

To enter Dulahazara Safari Park, you have to collect a ticket for 50 (fifty) taka.

Saudia, S Alam, Green Line, Hanif Enterprise, Shyamoli Paribahan, Sohag Paribahan, Modern Line etc. buses going from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar can get down directly in front of Dullahazara Safari Park. Depending on the class, the bus fares range from Tk 900 to Tk 2500 per seat.

If you want to travel by train from Dhaka, you can travel by Sonar Bangla, Suborn Express, Turna-Nishitha, Mahanagar Prabhati/Godhuli, Chittagong Mail from Kamalapur or Airport Railway Station. Train fare will be Tk 405-1398 per seat. Then you can come to Dulahazara Safari Park from New Bridge area of ​​Chittagong or Dampara Bus Stand by S Alam, Hanif, Unique etc. buses of different types and quality for a fare of Tk 420 to Tk 1000.

Besides, you can go to Dulahajara Safari Park by CNG, micro or local bus from Cox's Bazar. And if you want to come to Cox's Bazar by air, Bangladesh Biman, Air Astra, US Bangla have direct flights to Cox's Bazar. It will cost 6000 to 9000 taka to come to cox's bazar by air. Besides, you can come to Chittagong by air and go to Cox's Bazar by road.

Tourists prefer to stay in Cox's Bazar as it is near Cox's Bazar. If you don't want to stay in Cox's Bazar, there is accommodation in low-cost residential hotels in Chakaria bus stand area. Mid-range budget restaurants include Rodela, Jhowban, Dhansindi, Paushi, Niribili, Al Bogdadia etc. Like many other things, food prices here can be lower/higher depending on the season.
