Jamuna Resort Tangail

Bangabandhu Setu Resort has been built on the east side of Yamuna River near Bangabandhu Multipurpose Bridge . The previous name of this resort was Jamuna Resort . This resort is located between Tangail and Sirajganj districts. Yamuna Resort has gym, health club, swimming pool, bakery, foreign money exchange and souvenir shop. Sports facilities include football, hockey, cricket, badminton and chess. For accommodation, Bangabandhu Setu Resort has Royal Suite, Deluxe Executive Suite, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages, dormitory and extra bed facilities.

Bangabandhu Setu Resort has a restaurant that can seat 150 people at a time. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are two halls named Yamuna and Brahmaputra. Each hall has a capacity of 200 people. Besides, arrangements have been made for boat trips and resort site tours at the Yamuna Resort.

Various packages are available here on special festivals like Eid, Pahela Baishakh and Thirteenth Night. The per capita cost of which is fixed at 4000 to 5000 taka per package. Besides, Jamuna Resort has all the facilities for picnics, get togethers, DJ parties and official functions. Whereas the cost of organizing a picnic for 40 to 1000 people varies from Tk 20,000 to Tk 1,00,000 depending on the package.

Tangail bus from Gabtali and Mohakhali in Dhaka can be reached at low cost to Jamuna Resort. You can come from Kamalapur or Airport railway station by train that stops at the station before Bangabandhu Bridge. You can go to Yamuna Resort on foot or by rickshaw from the railway station.

Besides, you can get down to Bhuyapur upazila gate by bus and from there you can hire a CNG or a rickshaw to reach Jamuna Resort adjacent to Jamuna Bridge.
