Sholoani Saikat Munshiganj

The Sholoani project is currently known as Sholoani Saikat on the banks of the Meghna river in Ghazaria police station of Munshiganj district , about 50 km from Dhaka . This place was earlier known as Daulatpur. Construction of embankment with CC blocks on the banks of Meghna river to prevent river erosion adds to the beauty of this place and attracts nature lovers. Due to its short distance from Dhaka, this place has gained a lot of popularity among bikers in a very short time.

You can enjoy boating on the Meghna river, floating white clouds in the infinite blue sky, the beauty of the beautiful sunset or the charming form of the full moon in the beautiful environment of the nearly 5 km long Sholani beach. Apart from this, there is an opportunity to float on the Meghna by renting a boat.

If you want to go to Sholani Beach, you have to take a BRTC bus from Ghazaria Paribahan, Daudkandi or Gouripur to Bhaberchar bus stand from Gulistan in the capital Dhaka. From Bhaberchar bus stand, you can take a CNG from Rasulpur and take another CNG to reach Sholani stand. Besides, if you want, you can directly reach Sholani Beach from Bhaberchar bus stand with CNG reserve.

Ghazaria Paribahan fare from Gulistan to Bhaberchar is Tk 70 per person and BRTC AC bus fare is Tk 110. Local CNG fare from Bhaberchar to Rasulpur is Tk 20 per person. Local CNG fare from Rasulpur to Sholani is Tk 20 per person. And CNG reserve fare from Bhaberchar to Sholani beach is Tk 200.

At the local hotel, you can eat with different local fish and various types of food.

You can go from Dhaka in a day and come back in the same day.
