Sreefaltali Zamindar Bari Gazipur

Shreefaltali Court Of Estate is located in Shreefaltali village of Kaliakore district of Gazipur . This zamindar house was founded by Rahim Newaz Khan Chowdhury. Rahim Nawaz Khan's father Khoda Nawaz Khan was the ruler of Srifaltali Zamindar Estate. The Srifaltali Zamindar house was used for the administration of the Zamindar. As a result of Rahim Nawaz Khan's efforts, Kaliakair made its debut as Thana about 100 years ago.

Any visitor can explore the two sides of the Sriphaltali Zamindar house. The small side portion is occupied by the current heirs of the zamindar so permission is required to enter. Small parties are hired for the shooting of various films. There is a mosque between the big and small sides.

Rajdhani Pariwan bus from Dhaka goes to Kaliakor via Airport and Uttara. You can get off at Rajdhani Paribahan bus stop at Sriphaltali intersection. Just 5-6 minutes walk from Sriphaltali turn will reach Zamindar house.

From Gabtali Bus Terminal Maumita, Itisha and Address Transport buses ply to Chandra in Gazipur. From Chandra to Kaliakoi bus stand you can take a rickshaw and go to Sriphaltali Zamindar's house.

There are several good quality residential hotels and resorts in Gazipur for overnight stay. Happy Day Inn, Nakshatrabari Resort, Nandan Village, Holiday X etc. are notable.
