University Of Dhaka

On July 1, 1921, the University of Dhaka (University of Dhaka) started its journey on about 600 acres of land in Shahbagh, the capital city of Dhaka. The first established university of Bangladesh had 3 faculties, 12 departments, 60 teachers and 877 students at that time. Currently Dhaka University has 13 faculties, 83 departments and 12 institutes with around 38,000 students and 1,805 teachers. Ever since its establishment, the youth frenzy of Dhaka University, the holder of progressivity, has given birth to many historical events. Dhaka University has become famous as the Oxford of the East due to the development of intellectual and intellectual students.

Among the various historical buildings witnessing the glorious chapter of Bangladesh in Dhaka University are Curzon Hall, Kala Bhavan, Central Library, Shrine of Three Leaders, Institute of Fine Arts, Senate Bhawan, Bakul Tala, Central Jame Masjid, Tomb of Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Bangla Academy, Shaheed Minar, Daksu Bhavan, TSC, Aparajeya Bangla and Raju Sculpture, Doel Chatwar, Madhur Canteen, Hakim Chatwar, Mukti and Demokrat Toran. Apart from this, there are numerous trees, ponds, flower gardens and tall buildings that are unique examples of architecture.

The university has its own bus service in addition to various public transports to Dhaka University from different parts of the capital city . You can easily move to the university area by any vehicle of your choice.

For food in Dhaka University Madhur Canteen, TSC, Daksu, Hakim Chatwar and in front of Central Library from Lal Cha, Samucha, Chop, Singara, Chicken patties to rice, dal, alu bharta, chicken curry, chicken and egg khichuri. And you can eat Tehari.
