Mawa Feri Ghat (Mawa Feri Ghat) is a popular place for tourists for river cruises and hilsa eating. There are several food hotels along the Mawa ferry pier. From Dhaka's Gulistan and Jatrabari, you can take the BRTC, Hilsa Paribahan, Basumati Paribahan, Panya Paribahan, Swadhin Express, DM Paribahan, Apan Paribahan, Himalaya, Samam Transport buses to go directly to Mawa Ghat. Apart from Mirpur 10, Farmgate, Shahbagh, Dhaka Metro and Swadhin Paribahan travel on the way to Mawa Ferry Ghat.

There are many food hotels in Mawa Ghat. All hotels have hilsa fried. If you want, you can buy Hilsa and roast it yourself. If you don't want to eat at Mawa Ghat, you can go across the Padma to the hotels near Kawrakandi Ghat. To increase the taste of the food, you can add hot oil and dry chili to the rice. The price of hilsa fry is 90 to 120 taka depending on the size.
